This course is designed for welding fabricators, pipeline, refinery and other plant maintenance personnel with limited testing needs.
This course covers the theory and practice of dye penetrant inspection including its capabilities and limitations. Its focus is on the use of Visible and Fluorescent/Solvent Removable and Water Washable materials for welding inspection and crack detection in metal components.
This course meets the intent of SNT-TC-IA. (8-hour)
